Humanity's Muse

There’s an idea I have,
I think is true:

Do you think about how stars blink like they know something,
winking,
as if they have secrets to tell,
ones we aren’t ready for.
Do you ever notice how a wave pulls back
just before it crashes,
like its testing something,
the shore or, maybe its strength,
maybe its deciding
if its worth the energy.
What about the way trees always sway at the right time,
like, when the wind doesn’t even touch them-
both random and deliberate,
and neither.
Sometimes, I think the clouds are listening to me,
changing shapes when I need them to,
it’s like they’re whispering my thoughts back to me.
My idea:
Nature guides us,
teaches us patience,
connection,
admiration-
it models life.
I could spend eternity searching for the science behind it all,
but what’s the point?
It just is.
Nature just is.
It makes you pause,
smile,
think-
it’s what life is about,
isn’t it beautiful?

Excellent narration my dear Arjun.
Nature is the best teacher and friend.
